Mise à l’honneur de @Soumyajinandy à travers ce cliché extraordinaire et qui n’arrive pas ici sans raison. Ceux qui me connaissent - ou ont déjà fait un voyage avec moi - savent que je laisse la facilité aux autres .. rechercher les animaux dans leurs royaumes c’est une partie intégrante du voyage et de la photographie animalière. Appâter, attendre, ou récolter le fruit du travail d’un autre, confortablement assis dans un affût … ce n’est pas mon angle d’attaque de la photographie animalière - Je la respecte mais j’aime l’inattendu et la récompense de la surprise et de la recherche. En mars 2024… un projet prend forme. 6 aventuriers sur 10 ont déjà relevé le défi …. Et comme le partage d’expérience(s) fait aussi partie de ma philosophie, ce n’est pas moins que Julien Boulé Wildlife & Nature Photography qui me fera l’honneur de m’aider sur ce voyage. Ne cherchez pas, le voyage n’est pas encore online … peut-être ne devra t il jamais l’être car rempli avant sa publication. Une expérience hors normes... la saison 2023 se préparent en collaboration avec le @qilak_icetoice , Un voilier de 20m destiné à croiser en mers polaires. D'un confort extrême (sauna hé oui!), en cabine double, vous pouvez nous rejoindre, mon ami et partenaire @schmid_chris (ambassadeur Sony Europe et Nat Geo) et moi (Ambassadeur Sony Benelux, guide naturaliste et biologiste) pour une croisière inoubliable avec seulement 6 passagers pour 5 membres d'équipage (dont deux guides - photo et biologiste). Session de post-production de vos photos, présentation de la biologie et des enjeux de ces espèces.. tout cela durant 8 jours. Dans un monde froid en sursis.. le roi inspecte, curieux, alerte et attentif à la moindre occasion de parfaire son menu dans des contrées austères (et changeantes...).. Debout sur la banquise, ou notre bateau était amarré, il nous offre une rencontre qui restera figée dans nos mémoires, comme l'était ce voilier dans son écrin de glace. Son avenir est en danger.. par la chasse aux trophées, par le réchauffement climatique et par des politiques parfois.. Le rencontrer dans ces étendues gigantesques, froides et vides (à première vue), c'est un cadeau de la Nature qu'il faut savourer et partager. Ce animal mythique est le meilleur ambassadeur qu'il soit concernant le réchauffement climatique. C'est avec une certaine fierté que je vous annonce la diffusion libre sur YOUTUBE de mon documentaire de 24 minutes....  Vous y découvrirez l'envers du décor d'un voyage sur les contreforts de l'Himalaya mais aussi sur ce métier assez particulier de guide Naturaliste et Photographique. Certes, il fait des envieux mais... tout n'est pas rose, loin s'en faut. Beyond the cliché a été réalisé sur fonts propres et avec l'aide de Samuel Vandenberg. Tourné en 2019, il relate les coulisses d'un voyage organisé par mes soins à la recherche de la Panthère des neiges... Le loup gris, animal admiré et pourtant si mal traité par un genre humain… ou un genre d’humains plutôt. Certains d’entre eux défendent même leurs troupeaux avec le descendant de celui qu’il cherche à éradiquer. D’autres le traquent avec ces mêmes arrière-arrière petits fils de loup… en oubliant qu’il fut notre allié lorsque nous étions partie entière de la Nature et que de cette alliance sont nés les chiens…. À méditer je trouve. Vive les loups, vive la nature libre et sauvage. Ils se sont déjà adaptés à notre présence, à nous d’évoluer et d’en faire de même. #loup #wolf #nature #naturephotography

International Gorillas day… one of the most powerful and awesome meeting I had to live … please help local tourism (especially in DRC in Virunga National Park !) and go to visit them… you will never forget and regret that… for sure! Wide angle teenager... just back from a personal/business prospection trip in 🇫🇮 Finland, I found my house underwater (especially my office and the medical office of my wife). Insurances, papers, works to do, agenda, kids under pressure with school tests.. I just found few minutes now to upload one picture ... « the 45cm distance bear »... curious, challenging, adventurous,... he came to check our lenses (from the hide). The raccoon (Procyon lotor) is an invasive species in European countries.
